What is Love Thy Neighbor?

We all want to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. Jesus told us the parable of the Good Samaritan and gave us the two greatest commandments: Love God with everything we’ve got and love our neighbors as ourselves. We have created Love Thy Neighbor as the “missions and outreach arm” of One Church. We are vision conduits, not vision creators. Love Thy Neighbor is God’s vision for our church to reach our city, our nation, and our globe for the gospel and to carry out the great commission (Matthew 28:19).

Love Thy Neighbor partners with organizations locally and globally to accomplish the mission of Jesus.

We structure our outreach events and partnerships around the church’s seasonal structure.

Love Thy Neighbor Week

Love Thy Neighbor Week is a time to activate our church community and make a meaningful impact throughout our city. This week, we’ll be mobilizing as the hands and feet of Christ, serving and loving our neighbors in tangible ways. Each day, we’ll host a variety of events in partnership with local organizations, including many of our Love Thy Neighbor partners, to bring hope, support, and connection to those around us. Together, we’ll make a difference, one neighbor at a time.

It’s a place for growth, both for our community members and our volunteers. It’s a place for building relationships and sharing the love of Jesus with one another.

Compassion’s Way works to empower and inspire hope to the homeless and underprivileged of our communities through outreach and resource discovery to end their term on the streets

Out of Darkness

In the 21st century, far too many people are trapped in the darkness of sex tracking. Out of Darkness is on the frontlines every day rescuing these individuals. When people are rescued out of sex tracking, they can begin to walk out God’s purpose for their lives and become a beacon of light for others.

With the City

A movement facilitating micro-communities of faith who do life together with the unchurched in pain points of our nation’s urban centers. We have all felt moved by racial injustice in our nation, but oftentimes we don’t know how we can make a di!erence beyond the social media post or yard sign. WI+H is a place where you can put your feelings into practical action.

One Hope

We are sharing God’s word with children during a time of uncertainty and strategically equipping churches to share Scripture in new ways.

Convoy of Hope

Convoy of Hope has a wide network of volunteers and partners helping us make the world a better place. Whether it’s feeding children, empowering women, training farmers, responding to disasters, or serving a community in need, the goal is to bring help and hope where they are needed most.

THE REFUGE

The Refuge is a leading faith-based, non-profit addiction recovery ministry founded in Ohio in 1999. The mission of The Refuge is to change the lives of men affected by addiction through Christ. Our goal is to take men from active addiction to becoming responsible men of God, who go on to serve as lights to their families and communities.

Alicia’s Closet

Alicia's Closet is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, serving the foster care community in Central and Northwest Ohio. Our free stores provide infant to young adult sized clothing, shoes, coats, diapers & wipes, baby accessories and other essentials, at no cost to families. Our Columbus location also offers additional programming such as such as support groups, respite/parents' day out events, monthly meetup events, seasonal programs and a mentoring & outreach program for former foster youth.
